In conjunction with Schoeller® Technologies, Vestagen has conducted extensive testing and clinical development to launch these advanced performance technologies which repel fluids, maximize wearer comfort, and contain an antimicrobial to prevent degradation of the fabric from microorganisms and to control odor causing bacteria. All Vestagen technologies are bluesign® approved documenting the safety to both humans and the environment.

Fluid Barrier Technology

To protect clothing from contamination, staining and saturation, Vestagen uses fluorine/ silicon oxide-based technology to create textiles that are naturally self-cleaning and repellant to bodily fluids, water, oil, dirt and dust. The technology uses hydrophobic and oleophobic properties to create a structured surface that repels fluids much like the non-stick surface of many plants. Instead of a broad surface barrier, the technology binds to the individual fibers keeping garments clean and dry.

Semeltec™
Vestagen's antimicrobial technology is named Semeltec to honor the Father of Infection Control - Ignaz Semmelweis, M.D. Unlike other antimicrobial materials, Vestagen’s Semeltec technology has never been shown to cause or allow microbial adaptation or resistance.

Quick Dry Comfort

The hydrophilic properties of this technology allow textiles to wick away moisture from the inside enabling rapid evaporation of moisture, which stimulates a cooling effect, and creates fabrics that dry noticeably faster. The hydrophobic properties on the outside of the technology protect against bodily fluids and staining as well as resist perspiration from being transported to the outside of the garment. Thus Vestex maintains a professional appearance even when you perspire. Garments remain breathable, and you stay cool, dry and comfortable.
